Held by Vinschool Education System, EDURUN spends the money it raises every year constructing classrooms and schools for poor children in underprivileged areas.
EDURUN 2015
Thanks to the VND1.2 billion raised in the very first year of EDURUN (2015), 5 classrooms were built for students of Chieng So Secondary school, Song Ma district, Son La province. In 2017, with VND2 billion from the EDURUN Fund, 10 classrooms were inaugurated in 3 disadvantaged schools of Dakrong district, Quang Tri province, bringing indescribable happiness to the students on the threshold of a new school year.
EDURUN 2018
In its third year in Hanoi and first year in Ho Chi Minh City, EDURUN 2018 attracted more than 21,000 participants and raised a total amount of VND3.7 billion. Accordingly, another fairy tale was told in the historic land of Dien Bien when Muong Dun Kindergarten was established and 2 classrooms were built in Sin Chai Primary school, Tua Chua district, Dien Bien province in the happiness of the local teachers and students on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory.
EDURUN 2020
With 1.1 billion VND in donations raised by EDURUN 2020, Vinschool and parents were on a mission to look for the most suitable recipients across the country, hoping to help with the renovation or construction of schools and classes for the less fortunate children in remote areas. Vinschool helped build a brand new K-ooc Kindergarten school with 02 classrooms, a teacher’s room, toilets, a kitchen and a playground and an 100m3 stainless steel clean water tank for the Tan Trach Primary and Secondary Day-Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.
EDURUN 2021
With the participation of 30,000 runners, EDURUN 2021 concluded with 400,000 kilometers run and 2.2 billion VND raised. Vinschool sponsored the construction of two new schools in Dien Bien Province, in order to provide better learning opportunities to local ethnic minority children. De Tau Kindergarten (part of Muong Dun Kindergarten), Tua Chua District, Dien Bien Province built with four classrooms, a public service room, a kitchen, separate restrooms for students and teachers, a surrounding fence, and a tiled yard, with an approximate value of 600 million VND. The remaining proceeds of EDURUN 2021 was used to build Lung Thang 1 Kindergarten (part of Huoi Mi Kindergarten), Huoi Mi Commune, Muong Cha District, Dien Bien Province including 1 classroom, 1 public service room, a kitchen, a restroom for students, and a fence around the school. The schoolyard also was paved with bricks to ensure long-term use.
EDURUN 2022
EDURUN 2022 made a mark with impressive figures: over 30,000 participants (online & offline); covering nearly 120,000 km and successfully raising nearly 2.2 billion VND. From this budget, Vinschool build 4 classrooms with corrugated iron roofs, equipped with teacher rooms, kitchens, and restrooms. The aim is to meet the basic needs for students to study, engage in activities, and play at the Sảng Pả School, part of the Phố Cáo Kindergarten, Phố Cáo Commune, Đồng Văn District, Hà Giang Province.This is the 11th school facility built from the budget of the EDURUN event.
EDURUN 2023
Following the enthusiastic participation of nearly 35,000 individuals (both online and offline), EDURUN 2023 concluded with over 3.2 billion VND raised. As a result, Vinschool built a new kindergarten branch at Khong Hin, Khong Nua village, Muong Khong commune, Tuan Giao district, Dien Bien province. This is the 12th school site to be constructed or renovated through the EDURUN fund.
EDURUN 2024
In its eighth year, EDURUN 2024 has left a significant mark with remarkable figures: over 9,700 Race Kits and 31,000 shirts were purchased by parents and students across the entire Vinschool system within just the first week of the campaign’s launch. A record-breaking amount of VND 5 billion was raised—making it the most successful fundraising season in EDURUN’s history. With the funds collected this year, Vinschool will invest in the complete reconstruction of Khai Hoang Kindergarten & Primary School, providing a safe and well-equipped learning environment for more than 100 kindergarten and primary students in Du Gia Commune, Tuyen Quang Province (formerly Ha Giang) – a remote and underserved area with complex mountainous terrain, located 164 km from Ha Giang City. Khai Hoang School is the 13th school built with funding from EDURUN over the years, with an estimated total investment of VND 3 billion, drawn from the EDURUN 2024 fund and expected to be completed in 2026.
EDURUN 2025
Launched across the Vinschool system on March 25, 2025, EDURUN 2025 featured a wide array of physical fitness activities and charitable fundraising initiatives at each campus. Vinsers, parents, and school staff actively engaged in school-based running events, complemented by a range of creative fundraising efforts. These included the purchase of nearly 60,000 EDURUN 2025 T-shirts, the creation of personal accounts on the 84RACE online running platform, participation in internal fundraising campaigns at schools, and direct contributions through the purchase of running BIBs.
A highlight of the campaign was the large-scale event held on April 13, 2025, at Vinhomes Ocean Park 3, which brought together more than 8,500 students, parents, and staff from Vinschool Times City, Vinschool Ocean Park, Vinschool The Harmony, and Vinschool Vinhomes Riverside. The event created a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere, reflecting the collective spirit of EDURUN 2025. Thanks to the enthusiastic support of the community, the total amount raised during this year’s campaign reached nearly VND 3.9 billion. All proceeds have been contributed to the EDURUN Fund, continuing its mission to build new educational facilities for children in remote and disadvantaged areas of Vietnam.
