Congratulations to Mr. Dao Dinh Hoang, parent of 2 students at Vinschool Ocean Park on becoming the “Pioneer” of EDURUN 2022 with a total of 83.66 km run on the very first day of the race (April 12, 2022). Until now, Mr. Hoang is still holding the first position on the individual rankings of EDURUN 2022. The prize for the “Pioneer” is 01 Vento electric scooter worth VND56.3 million sponsored by VinFast.
As a running enthusiast, Mr. Hoang is now an active member of a group of runners from the Vinhomes Ocean Park community. Joining EDURUN for the 3rd year, he said he wanted to become a “Pioneer” on the first day of the race to be a positive role model for his children.
As Mr. Hoang shared, his two children were couch potatoes so he could hardly ask them to join his everyday run. On the launch date of EDURUN 2022, he tried his best to win the top prize. Having learned that their father made it, the two children were so proud and happy that they immediately joined the run the following day. “If you want your children to make physical exercise a daily habit, you’d better set a good example for them to follow. EDURUN is a meaningful race that helps you improve your physical health, and at the same time, make a contribution to the community. I often go out to run at 5 a.m., but on the first day of the run, I tried to run a little more to show my children that higher goals can be achieved if we put in enough effort. The prize means a lot to my family. Seeing my effort, my children were motivated to run with me every day”, added Mr. Hoang.
